Donald Joseph Qualls, better called DJ Qualls is an American actor producer and fashion model. After gaining fame through his work on Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films including The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. Alongside appearing on Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs as well as Lost Law & Order, and many others. Qualls had been diagnosed as having Hodgkin's lymphoma at age 14, and has battled it ever since. After two years of treatment, the cancer has gone into the stage of remission. Being treated at such a young time had negative effects on the body. It hampered his development. I've been living so cheaply for so long I have the financial stability or else the world seems uncontrollable for me he stated in an interview. Looking back at his childhood and his desire to do something about the problem of bullying. DJ states "Cruelty is a snare to my soul." The man says his ideal character would be a dad in both reality and in film. However, he admits that "Directors do not cast me in the roles I'm in." He'd like to have a kid in order to be able to dedicate much less of his time to more attention to the child.
